Welcome to the end of the work week. THANK-YOU Jhonny Peralta for making it a great way to begin the weekend!
The Tiger’s victory, due to Peralta’s walk-off home run, really brought the crowd at Comerica Park to life.
Andrew Bailey, the Red Sox closer, has blown two of his last four saves. (And, you thought we had it bad, huh?)
“I know he throws a lot of sliders, and that’s what I was looking for.”
This was Jhonny’s second walk-off between this year and last. Those always make this game exciting!
Also, I ran into a good article from ESPN about Peralta’s career year that I wanted to share.
The article mentioned,”
“Our video-review data marked that as Peralta’s 19th hit this season against a breaking pitch located in the strike zone. He totaled 18 such hits last season.”
Check out more of the info on “Peralta, The Punisher.” You can also find the link on my Twitter feed and on Facebook, too. “Peralta, The Punisher“
